This week we were pleased to see that three out of six Lap Dancing Clubs in Leeds have been ordered to close by Friday 13 December.

Leeds City Council Licensing Committee ruled that three which are currently in “sensitive” locations should be closed.

So it’s ‘bye bye’ to Deep Blue, opposite Leeds railway station on Wellington Street, and Red Leopard and Wildcats on The Headrow.

Liberte and Purple Door, both on York Place, had their licences approved. The application for Silks, on Sovereign Place, was approved until June 2014.

We’ll be keeping an eye on any appeals or further opportunities to object, and keep you posted.
